Our Optometry department offers comprehensive services for all conditions of the eye by licensed Doctors of Optometry. A proper prescription for eyeglasses can significantly improve your quality of life and day-to-day activities, and routine eye examinations can help detect early problems with the eye and ensure healthy eye development.
Comprehensive eye examinations are especially important for children because many eye conditions, such as “lazy eye,” can go undetected until later in life, when they are much more serious. If you purchased your health insurance from the Health Insurance Marketplace, your child is eligible for one fully covered eye examination and one pair of eyeglasses per calendar year until the age of 19.
We accept most forms of health insurance, and offer a sliding free schedule for those who are underinsured and uninsured.
When making an Adult and/or Pediatric medical appointment, please also remember to schedule an Eye Examination.
If you are a patient at any of DVCH’s Health Centers, you may use the Optometry services located at Norristown Regional Health Center.
